Created for my upcoming 'Dek's Additions: Carnotaurus' mod for Path of Titans.
I wanted this carnotaurus to feel large, bulky, and imposing, being less of a cheetah and more of a semi truck in terms of power and agility. As such, I exaggerated many traits such as the feature scales and other keratinous growths, as well as the muscle mass. I also tried to give its animations the personality of an angry creature, something that will mow you down on sight if so desired. Path of Titans features two species for every playable genus, with carnotaurus only having Sastrei, I created the fictional Atrox; a far larger, scarier, and more fictionalized variant, and gracilis; a leaner, swifter looking variant. I did all the skins present in this post, modeling, baking, rigging, and animations for the Carnotaurus.
This project was aimed to help me hone my abilities in the unreal engine by diving off into the deep end to create a playable functioning character from scratch to the point it functions with others in the game I mod it into. I faced many challenges along the way which I overcame with the help of the community around me and my own volition.
